A quokka, the only animal in Australia you can not be afraid of. We learn in school that in Australia there are a lot of insects and animals that we should be afraid of. There are these stories about enormous spiders that would make anyone shiver in fear, and others about how kangaroos can be better boxers than MMA fighters. No matter how beautiful the place may be, that definetly sets the word to be afraid of what you can find there. Luckily for the terrified people like me, there is another animal that isn't a big insect or a fighting mammal. There is actually a cute cat-looking animal that seems to always be smiling and never in fight-or-flight mode. That animal is called a quokka. If you have never heard of them, I dare you to look at the images below and not drown in cuteness.
