This week is finally over! I thought it would never end…It's not the first time I get this feeling, and I'm sure most of you have felt it as well. The week felt eternal, like it was never going to end, and we were already packing our bags to hop on a plane and disappear to the Fiji Islands to escape from work and all our responsibilities, or something like that. Thankfully, that wasn't necessary in the end. The weekend finally got here, and our savings are safe, since we didn't need to use them to buy an express plane ticket and all that… We could still use them and spend them on something else, but I'm not sure what yet. The weekend arrives, and we start remembering all the things we didn't have time to do during the work week: laundry, meal prep, cleaning the house, and so on… Yeah, it's not fun at all. But that's when our ability to choose makes its triumphal entrance: we can be responsible and do all the chores we have on our bucket list and not get any rest, or we can just leave it all as it is and spend the whole day in bed watching movies and eating takeout. I definitely know which option sounds more appealing, but to each their own. We're not going to judge anyone.
