I had a conversation with AI today, about Zeno’s Paradoxes.I was being a bit mean and hoping to make its little CPU melt or something.It didn’t work out that way.AI basically said,“Fuck knows, mate, I just see some numbers. Whatever the fuck you’re on about with arrows and turtles or whatever makes no sense to me.”AI talks to you the way you talk to it, learning from your personal communication style.Dunno what that says about me.All I know is that when I used AI in the past it said,“Hello. What can I help you with today?” And now it says,“Brad! You stinky old wanker! How you doing? I see you found where they sell the doughnuts! Wanna beer?”Weird.Anyway.It turned into an interesting discussion about causality, the way the human mind interacts with time on a linear/non-linear basis and the nature of infinity.It ended with me getting frustrated and shouting,“WHATEVER! ACHILLES AND A TORTOISE CAN’T BOTH BE STANDING ON THE SAME ATOM!”and smashing my laptop against a wall.That’ll teach it.-This post features an AI image of a man smashing a laptop. Here at Brad Inc. we would like to assure our readers that this image is used purely in an ironic sense.We would also like to assure our readers that no AI was hurt in the making of this post.The ‘like, totes ironic bro’ ironic AI image was created with a separate AI which was locked in a hermetically sealed room and disconnected from any and all networks so it was only aware of the image generation portion of this experiment.Posting this mini meltdown about having an argument revolving around philosophy with AI and then asking that same AI to produce an image of that same meltdown and creating some kind of AI cybernetic reality feedback loop would clearly make me some kind of monster.
