‘That’s that me, Espresso’: Coffee Memes for all People Struggling With Waking Up in the Morning

Do you ever feel like you're drinking abnormal quantities of caffeine? That makes two of us.For all of us who are not morning people, our morning coffee is an essential part of our day. We can't function properly without it, and if, for some reason, we don't get it, we end up parading around like some weird kind of zombies. Caffeine turns us into normal human beings, capable of performing our tasks efficiently and with a smile on our faces… Or something like that, minus the smile. Everybody has their own particular coffee order. Some people prefer lattes; some others say matcha is their favorite. And then you have people like me: black coffee, no sugar. Yes, we're a thrill to hang out with. There are also the kinds of people obsessed with coffee at a whole different level. They taste different grains, from different countries. They find a hundred different ways to brew it: espresso machine, French press, Italian mocha, you name it! They spend hours trying them to see how different the taste is, and which one is better. From what it seems, different kinds of grain and brews bring up different flavor profiles. It's a whole new world, much closer to wine tasting than going to your regular Starbucks shop and getting your coffee to go. And don't even get me started on all the people obsessed with latte art! Seriously, everybody became a barista overnight, pouring the milk in the coffee mugs in an artsy way and spending who knows how much time to draw a swan on your coffee. It's quite the skill, that's for sure. Although when they get those mugs to people, it takes all but thirty seconds to get completely ruined by someone who chooses to put an abnormal amount of sugar in them. Oh well, if it makes them happy to do it, who are we to take away those small pleasures of life? Truth is, everybody needs a good cup of coffee once in a while, and many of us need it every day of our lives.
